Water & carbon keep moving. THE WATER CYCLE
Read the text version

THE WATER CYCLE

Evaporation: liquid water becomes water vapour.

Condensation: vapour forms tiny liquid droplets.

Precipitation: water falls as rain, snow or hail.

Water returns through rivers and groundwater.

THE CARBON CYCLE

Photosynthesis takes carbon dioxide into plants.

Feeding transfers carbon to animals.

Respiration and decay return carbon dioxide.

Burning fuels adds carbon dioxide to the air.
